What is it ?
Odyceo is the first entrepreneurship society in NTUA. It is made up of students from the Technical University of Athens and has the goal of organizing events to educate engineering students about entrepreneurship, meaning, how to evaluate, pivot and marketize their ideas in order to acquire funding. Having solely technical skills, many students with great ideas fail to take the initiative to start their own businesses either because the lack the social circle they need for that or because the are afraid by the lack of knowledge and skill in that sector.
That is why Odyceo collaborates with professionals in the tech business and venture capital circles to give lectures, organize workshops and visit successful startups.
In its first 3 months of existence, the team managed to organize 3 events and gather more than 120 people, making its mark slowly in the engineering community.

My role & work
I helped bootstrap the organization along with 3 more students, giving the initial idea a digital presence and structuring the communication channels and partners list.
My main focus was the technical and design aspects. Meaning, communicating with the school for resources and setting up the website, as well as help design the visual identity and media graphics for the first year events. Of course, as in every beginning of a team, I contributed to the vision and short-term, long-term goals of the team.
Below you can see indicative work about the events’ graphics and website
